Charles Waterton the Wanderer, a long passage in Volume 2 (i.e. the 4th of the entire "Gossip" set) on Julia Pitt Byrne's visits to Walton Hall to meet the Squire and a final visit after his death. A fascinating series of encounters with Victorian celebrities.
There are also references to the Squire in Volume 1 of "Gossip".
